Adamczyk Foods, located at the corner of Hammond and Kirkwood in Cudahy, reopened for business on Friday, May 14th.  It had been closed while owner Dennis Adamczyk recovered from back surgery.  The family meat market, which has sold fresh Polish, Italian and Hungarian sausages, brats and other homemade meats since 1925, is open on Fridays and Saturdays.  Dennis' father, Eddie Adamczyk, died in March, 2010 of complications from pneumonia. He was 89 years old.
